Summer in the redwoods
For those of you curious about what kinds of insects we see here, here are a couple that were captured in the house. The first here was captured alive and well, the other was obviously dying. Anyone know what these two things are?

well, i'm no expert, but i'd say they're bugs.
first is a beetle of some sort.
second is a Caddis Fly, it appears.

I think the second bug landed on Doug today. He described what was shown in the pic. Talk about a monster! jeez!
One is ugly, the next uglier ;) OK, I hate bugs! Sorry, all bugs give me the creeps.
