I've figured out the trick for photographing Anthony

The trick is "distance". Here we are on easter all outside finding easter eggs. This is Anthony running as fast as he can to get out of the picture.

Melissa

Melissa has been taking horseback riding lessons here. Here she is at her first lesson. She looks like she belongs up there.

Almost

In the L.A. airport I asked Nikolai to put on his socks and shoes so we could get on the plane. Once we got on the plane I noticed he had done as I asked. Technically.

Note he has two socks on one foot.

It's a small world after all

We all were about ready to go postal if we heard one more verse of this song by the time the ride was through. Here's a great pic of Melissa and Nikolai in line though.

Disneyland

On the way out to NOLA for the last time we decided to head south for a trip to Disneyland. We had a lot of fun. Nikolai's favorite ride was the Monorail. He didn't want to listen when we told him it was not a ride. There's not much I can say except that we all had a blast. Pirates of the Caribbean kicks some serious butt since the movies have been released. We ate Monte Cristos in New Orleans. Here's a picture of the drunken pirate we found there.

life sucks

I literally cannot successfully juggle all of the things in my life and am dropping major balls like "get child in daycare so I can focus on work". Updating and upkeeping a blog just has not been my priority.

I do have lots of things I want to blog about like:
trip back to new orleans and final settling down
living on my own
disneyland and all the wonderfulness we encountered in L.A.
Anthony's birthday and fun with balloons
yet another fun-filled easter and our traditional visit from One Eye'd Pete (AKA: One Eye'd Pete Revealed - A shocking expose)

and more.

I just don't have the time. I hope I do soon.
